Tuberculosis and its relatively cheap cost, it is recommended that isoniazid be used in the initial phase alongside rifampicin, pyrazinamide, and ethambutol and the continuation phase alongside rifampicin of tb treatment, unless there is a specific contraindication or bacterial resistance is suspected.
